Cat Adoptions - People for Animals League makes every effort to properly match adopters with their feline companions. The adoption application is an important part of the process because it provides PAL with basic information on your household to help ensure a good match and a lifetime home.

To be considered for the adoption of a PAL cat, you must:
Be 18 years of age.
Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household.
Have your landlord's consent to bring a cat onto the property if you rent.
Understand PAL has the right to refuse an application for any reason.

Cat Adoption Fees:
Kittens - 8 weeks to under 6 months $175 ($300 for two).
Adults - 6 months to 10 years: $100
Seniors - over 10 years: $50
Barn Cats: $25

Our fee covers

A note on adopting kittens - PAL prefers to place kittens in pairs or in a home with another pet. Kittens require socialization, constant attention, and company. Adopting kittens in pairs offers the best possible environment for their social and emotional development. There is lots of information on the internet about the benefits of adopting kittens in pairs. All applications for kittens and cats are considered on a case by case basis.
