	Tina DLH gray/white Female Kitten	Both sweet and sassy can be used to describe Tiny Tina. She is definitely both all the time. Mischievous and very active. Learning at lightening speed where the doors are opening to see what is on the other side. She is beautiful with her long gray and white fur. She would love(and needs) companions of any kind. She is currently in one of our foster homes where he is doing well with a large gentle dog and 3 adult cats. Tina would do better adjusting to children over age 8 with her playfulness. He loves to hang around in your presence and overall is a friendly, loving cat. He is my office supervisor laying on the desk – he loves playing with catnip. He does have his tempermental side but don’t we all? He gets along well with the other docile male cat in our care. But a slow introduction to another cat is recommended or he would be happy as an only feline companion. We have no history of any interaction with dogs or children.

They have been Inseparable since the beginning. Even though “not related,” we would love to see them go to their forever home together.

Although he was scruffy looking when he first arrived; he really is a handsome boy with beautiful blue eyes. He loves to play with toys. 	Maisie Siamese Mix Female 3-months-old	Maisie is a very pretty Siamese mix kitten. She is friendly when she is not busy playing with every toy in the shelter. She is compatible with the other kittens at the shelter but “stands her ground” when it is mealtime. Besides playing; her favorite time of the day is eating that delicious canned food. Maisie is an active kitten with a nice personality(and beautiful blue eyes).
	Josie DSH black/white Female 3-months-old	My name is Josie and I am the only female in my litter. I could “hold my own” against my four brothers. I am one happy little girl especially when I am playing with my brother Archie. The shelter staff would love -so would we -if we could be adopted together. We were born to a semi-feral Mom but we have come a long way since coming to the shelter. We would do best in a home without small children. I am a little shy initially with new people but I purr and love to be held by the shelter staff.

He is friendly and loves attention. He has all the good qualities that maturity brings – he is calm and content with life. As you can see from his picture; he loves playing with catnip toys. He is one happy and handsome fella.
	Cagney DMH black/white Neutered Male 1-2 years old	Cagney came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. He is a friendly boy who is quite the talker. His favorite time of the day is mealtime especially that delicious canned food(he LOVES to eat)l. His past history is that he was an inside/outside pet so he might adapt better to that type of home. Cagney was recently neutered and vaccinated. He would do best in a home with no dogs. Cagney has not had a good life so we are hoping that his next home will be better.
	Yuki DSH diluted calico Spayed Female 2-years-old	Yuki is a very sweet and very pretty dilute calico. She was surrendered to the shelter because of various family issues in her former home. Although she was stressed initially coming to the shelter; her lovable and talkative personality has returned. She loves attention and loves to be petted. Because she has no previous experience with other cats or dogs; she would do best in a home when she could be the only pet companion. Yuki will make a lovely companion for some person or persons who will give her time to adjust and “blossom.”

She now feels comfortable with the shelter staff. She loves to be petted and purrs when you give her attention. Lexi would do best in a quiet home with adults only. She is very compatible with other cats. Lexi is strictly an indoor companion. She really is a sweet natured cat.

	Turbo Russian Blue Mix Neutered Male 1-2 years old	Turbo is a very handsome Russian Blue mix who is athletic and energetic. He is a cat who needs an active life style. We are hoping to find him a home where he could some access to the outdoors(or a screened porch). Turbo is friendly and approaches anyone who comes into the shelter. He can get over stimulated if he receives too much attention. He needs a home where the adopter has some "cat experience." At the shelter; even during the cold weather he ventures into the outdoor enclosure to enjoy the "sights" and play in the snow. Although Turbo has some idiosyncrasies(don't we all); we hope we can find him a compatible home.

She's got a silly side. (Silly Willy is my nickname for her.) For instance, she can't wait until bedtime when she pops up and curls up and folds into my side wanting to absorb as much affection as there is to give. Must be kept inside. She comes from a loving home with an elderly woman who recently passed away. Willy had a lonely time transitioning but has never known unkindness. She must go to a gentle home with few occupants as she's on the shy side. Once she acclimates to her new home and mom/dad, her shyness will subside (as it already has), but a busy household such as with other animals or with high energy people/kids will prevent her from living her best life and giving you all she has to give.
	Ralph DMH tuxedo Neutered Male 4-5 years old FeLV positive	Ralph(aka Ralphie) is a very handsome and very friendly tuxedo boy. He came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. He was very thin and loaded with engorged ticks. Since coming to the shelter, the transformation in his appearance and personality has been amazing. His very favorite time of the day is meal time. He will eat whatever food we are feeding that day. Ralph did test positive for feline leukemia so he should be adopted as the only feline companion. His bloodwork has improved dramatically since his arrival. It is important to understand that cats with FeLV can live normal lives for relatively long periods of time. Besides routine veterinarian appointments; it is important to monitor their weight, activity level and appetite. We are hoping that someone will open their heart and give this special boy a home.
	Hannah DSH black Spayed Female 4-5 years old	Hannah is a very pretty girl who had a difficult start in life. She has blossomed after being very scared when she first came to the shelter. She now purrs and loves to be petted. She needs to be adopted by a female person. Apparently she had a very negative experience with men in her past. We think she would do best in a home with no young children or dogs. Hannah has some idiosyncrasies because of her past. But she would make an awesome companion for a human female. She really is a sweet girl who still has lots of love to share.
	Bernie DSH tan tiger Neutered Male Senior Adopt	Bernie came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. We don't know his exact age but we know he is a senior fella(10+ years). Bernie is quite a handsome fella with lots of extra toes(polydactyl). He possesses all the good qualities that maturity brings. He is friendly, laid back and happy to spend his day looking out the window at the great outdoors. Bernie would make a great companion for an older person.
	DB DSH gray tiger Neutered Male 4-years-old	This double-pawed baby was adopted from our shelter 4 years ago. Sadly, the family who adopted him have made the difficult decision to find a new home for DB. DB is extremely social with people and will greet you vocally when you come home. He is affectionate and will cuddle on any chair, couch or bed with you – purring loudly. He loves to play and his favorite toy is – his chipmunk – that he has had since a kitten. He uses his scratching posts for those double paws. He has been around young children and most recently a small dog whom he plays with no problems at all. However, DB has become a bully with the older female cat in the household. He has decided to be the boss and their relationship continues to deteriorate. The older cat is stressed and hides most of the time. The decision was made to rehome DB. DB is purrfect in most ways but does have an allergy to chicken. He needs to stay on Purina True Instinct Ocean Whitefish. He has so many good qualities(besides being incredibly handsome). Please help us find DB a new home where he can be the feline”King”(the only feline).

	Sami(Samantha) DMH tiger Female Kitten	Sami was found in a local town as a stray kitten. She is super sweet, super friendly and super cute. We can’t believe that someone was not responsible for the care of this kitten. She is approximately 9-10 weeks old. She has tested negative for feline leukemia/aids and received her first distemper vaccination. Sami would bring lots of love and playfulness into some lucky family’s home.
	Travis Russian Blue Mix Neutered Male Young Adult Adopt	Travis came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. He is one handsome hunk of a cat. Travis is athletic, active and needs room to expend his energy(he is not a cat who would do well in an apartment). He can get "over stimulated" so a home where there is a person who has some "cat experience" would be best. He would do best in a home with no young children and no other cats. Travis would perhaps love some outdoor time or a home with a screened porch. Although he has some idiosyncrasies; we hope we can find the right "match" for this vivacious boy.

He was neutered and he is a very nice boy. Although we do not know his exact age; he has a youthful and playful disposition. Levi is quite handsome and polydactyl(extra toes). He is compatible with the other cats at the shelter. We think he may have missed many meals when he was a stray because he LOVES mealtimes.

He loves to spend his days lounging in a sunny spot or in front of the fire place. He also is fascinated with water from a faucet. He is a nice fellow but he can be independent. He will let you know if he has had enough petting, etc. He loves his “sister” Lily and they often cuddle up together. Because of allergies with a family member; Roger and Lily must find a new home. We are hoping they can be adopted together. Both cats are declawed and have been well cared for by their family.

She was extremely skittish and shy. We started to feed her but could not get within feet of her. Slowly she started to trust me as I was the person who fed her(the way to a cat's heart is through their tummy). When the weather started getting colder; I was determined to get her into the shelter. I was able to trap her with her favorite canned food as the bait. Pokus is a beautiful cat who has mellowed considerably. I pet her and she actually enjoys it. She really is a lovely girl who will need a quiet home where someone can be patient and kind to her. She is not aggressive but still skittish. I know she will bond with the right person as she has to me. We will never know the beginning of her story but we are hoping someone will give her a happy ending.
	Marcus DSH tuxedor Neutered Male Adult Adopt	Marcus is a handsome hunk of a cat. He is a BIG boy weighing in at 14 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. His disposition matches his good looks. Marcus is very friendly and likeable. He also likes to converse with you telling you when he is hungry, etc. We can’t tell you much about his past history but he certainly has been a good fella at the shelter. He has been leukemia tested and vaccinated and the veterinarian estimates his age around 3-years-old.
	Buster DSH tabby Neutered Male Adult Adopt	Buster Brown is one handsome dude! He is a big boy who was found as a stray in a local town. Buster has a reserved but friendly personality. He is very inquisitive and he loves to watch the birds at the bird feeder. In spite of being found outside; we think he would be happy being an indoor companion. He is good with the other cats at the shelter and there is history indicating that he is good with dogs. Buster has great tiger markings and he really is a nice boy.

It is time for Callie to find a home where she will be adopted as a loving companion. She was so thin when she came to the shelter but she is slowly gaining weight. She is strictly an inside companion but would love to find a home where she can explore(with lots of windows to watch the “great outdoors.”) We want to find her a home that will give her a better life. They were scared to death and understandably lost all trust for humans. They were placed in foster care and slowly learned the joys of being loved. Misha’s sisters have found their forever homes and now she says she’s ready for hers. Misha absolutely loves to be pat and scratched. She will follow you around and ask to be loved. She’s still a little hesitant about being picked up and cuddled, but she’s starting to like that too. The key to winning her over is treats. She LOVES treats. She sits and stares over the kitchen island at you until you give in and share with her. It will take Misha time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she does she will be a love bug. She adores other cats and calm dogs and would do best in a house where she has feline and/or canine siblings. Best in a somewhat quiet home. 	Bruschi DSH black Neutered Male Adopt	What a transformation in this boy! Bruschi had a very difficult life prior to coming to the shelter. He was a stray who had a hip injury and a shy and skittish personality. After a trip to the veterinarian where was neutered and x-rayed for his hip injury; Bruschi “settled in” at the shelter. He is now the picture of health at this time except for a residual slight limp. He is very affectionate especially when you feed him and and give him neck rubs. We are hoping that someone will give this boy a chance for a new life. We think he would do best in a home where he is the only pet(and no young children). With time and kindness; he will adjust to a new home. Bruschi is really a nice boy who doesn’t demand much from life.

	Mork and Mindy Kittens	Mork and Mindy are a brother/sister duo that are very bonded. They eat, sleep and play together. Their Mom - Maggie -has a wonderful disposition. If the kittens inherit their Mom's disposition; they will be super nice cats. The kittens have been living in one of our foster homes with their feline Mom. Mork and Mindy must be adopted together. 	Cinder DSH brown tiger Female Adult	Cinder is a beautiful cat with a lovely disposition to match. She was found as a stray in a local town. She is healthy but she tested positive for FIV. It may be years. If at all, before the cat develops clinical signs of Feline Aids. It is impossible for a human to contract FIV from a cat just as it is impossible for a cat to contract FIV from a human. FIV positive cats can lead active, full, wonderful lives in loving home. She is a “low key” cat who is content with life. One of her favorite activities is eating especially delicious moist(canned) food. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. We are hoping that someone will open their heart and home to Cinder. She would really look lovely sitting under some lucky family’s X-Mas tree.

I’m far too nice and will only lure you in so I can get pets and a cuddle. I very much enjoy lounging on your shoulders and if you’re lucky enough, I’ll even tell you some secrets while I’m up there. My fur coat was extremely matted so the groomer had to shave most of it. I feel better now because it was pinching my skin. I was a stray before coming to the shelter and a kind family provided shelter for me before one of the winter’s nasty snow storms. I really like people but do NOT like dogs. The shelter staff thinks that I must have had a bad experience with a dog at some point in my life. I like it here at the shelter – they serve delicious food(any kind of canned is my favorite) and it is nice and warm while my fur coat returns. Can I mention again that I do NOT like dogs?

I’ve had a rough start in life but some folks have helped me. I was living outside(and it was really cold some days). I was very scared and shy. But as each day goes past; I’m beginning to trust people. I have come to find out that I actually like attention from people(even belly rubs are okay) and I LOVE to play. It's getting cold outside so I'm glad the animal control officer brought me to the shelter. I'm a handsome tuxedo boy with a nice personality to match my good looks. 	Nikolai DSH gray Neutered Male Adult	My name is Nikolai(Nik for short). My former human Mom passed way so I went to live with another family member. I was the only pet in my former home and now I am not happy because I must live with other cats. I am 11-years-old but in very good health. I recently had an exam at our veterinarian and all my vaccinations were updated. I love to be brushed and I can spend hours sitting in my window perch. I was surrendered to the shelter because of “personal issues.” I am strictly an indoor companion. In my former home; I was the only pet. Ragdolls are described as having placid relaxed dispositions – that’s me. My beautiful fur coat requires grooming with regular brushing. I don’t understand why I am here at the shelter and I hope I find a new home soon.
	Haley DMH dilute calico Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Haley. I came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. I am really glad to be here at the shelter where the food and accommodations are good. As you can see from my picture; I’m still thin but the shelter staff feeds me really well. My fur coat is looking much better each day. I’m a very sweet and friendly feline girl. The shelter staff tells me that I am going to blossom into a beautiful girl(with a great disposition to match). My life has not been so good up to this point but I know some wonderful person or family is going to adopt me.

They were not socialized when they were younger so they are shy with people. They are living in one of our foster homes so they will get more personal attention. They are not aggressive and like to be petted once they trust you. They are typical kittens who LOVE to play. We are hoping to find them a home where someone can be patient with them. 	Brother DSH brown tiger Spayed Female Senior	Brother – who is a lovely spayed female feline – came to the shelter with the name Brother. We are not sure why SHE was given the name Brother but she does respond to it. Brother is a super sweet 12-year-old girl. She does NOT act or look like a senior feline. She loves attention and would make a marvelous companion for an older person. She was examined by a veterinarian who pronounced her “in good health.” Brother’s former owner was very upset that she had to surrender her to the shelter because of “personal issues.” As the saying goes “with age comes wisdom so do benefits.” When adopting a senior cat; the benefits are many. Brother is a sweet and mellow girl!
	Clarence DSH white with tan Neutered Male Adult	Clarence is an incredibly handsome dude. He is mostly white with tan markings and gorgeous blue/gray eyes. He is cross eyed which adds to his unique appearance. He is vivacious, playful and friendly. Although he seems to like other felines; they do not seem to like him. He is young and wants to play with the others. Perhaps he is too enthusiastic. We think he would love a family with older children with whom he could play.
	Alex DMH white/tiger Neutered Male Young Adult	My name is Alex. My former "owners" moved and abandoned me and my friend Kalli(she is the pretty calico girl on the web site). They moved and put us outside to fend for ourselves. We were scared so we moved to the neighbor's house and were living under her porch. She felt sorry for us and brought us to the shelter. The shelter staff has been very nice to us. As each day passes; we are getting more comfortable and relaxed at the shelter. They tell me that I am a very handsome and sweet fella. I do like attention and head rubs. I hope my next family treats me better.

Before coming to the shelter; I spent several years with a local animal control officer. I was hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis. The animal control officer took care of me and nursed me back to health. I had a recent veterinary exam and I was told that I am very healthy and show no signs of any residual damage from that nasty "car incident." I really like people and LOVE attention. However I really don't like other cats(a cat friendly dog might be okay). They are nice to me here at the shelter but I really hope that I find a home soon.
	Iris DSH brown tiger Spayed Female Young Adult	Iris deserves the "feline Mom of the year award." She took such good care of her five kittens and her sweet personality was passed to them. Iris is a petite girl with an awesome personality. She came to the shelter from a local animal control officer. She was abandoned with her five very young kittens at an apartment complex. We are determined to find Iris a wonderful home. Her kittens have all been adopted and now it is their Mom's turn to find a loving home.

I love to play(as all kittens do). I had a rough start in life but I’m glad that someone rescued me from the “great outdoors.” I am learning to really like people although I was a little shy initially. I am super cute!
	Elsie DMH Calico/Tiger Spayed/Declawed Female 13-14 years old	My name is Elsie. I'm spayed and declawed. The shelter staff tells me that I am one of the sweetest and prettiest cats they have ever seen(a really nice compliment). My former owner was an elderly woman who could no longer take care of me. I am a "senior feline" but I would make a wonderful companion for an elderly person or couple. I LOVE attention and I give "kisses" and head butts. Gosh I hope someone will open their heart and home to me.
	Lola	My name is Lola. I lived behind a pizza shop before coming to the shelter. I have to admit that I don’t miss that life – it was cold and I didn’t have much food to eat. I am told that I am very pretty and have a beautiful fur coat. I’m very friendly and affectionate with women but very scared of men. The shelter staff thinks that I must have had a “bad experience” with a man or men. The way to my heart is through my tummy. Gosh – I love to eat(especially that delicious moist cat food). I like Cody(the shelter canine mascot) but am not fond of other cats. I know I have a few idiosyncrasies but I really do have a sweet disposition. I would love to share a home with a female human companion where I could be the “feline Princess.” I have so much love to share.

My early life was not good and I was very shy and scared when I was brought to the shelter. But I am a very handsome and happy teen-age any attention they will give me. I get along great with my littermate, Hadlee, and would definitely love to stick with her when we find our forever home. We haven’t been separated since being at Becker College, even though we have been getting along swell with the other kitties. All in all, I’m the perfect cat to have in your life.

I don't understand why my former family did not want me anymore. I was very scared and apprehensive but I feel more comfortable as each day passes at the shelter. I don’t mean to brag but the shelter and veterinary staff tell me that I am one handsome dude with a wonderful personality to match. I do have beautiful fur with a magnificent tail. I respond to any attention with purrs and head butts. The shelter staff tells me that I am a “bonus package.”

	Dunkin DMH orange tiger Neutered Male Young Adult	My name is Dunkin. I was abandoned at a local Dunkin Donuts hence my name became Dunkin. The shelter staff is amazed that someone would abandon me. Besides being incredibly handsome; I am friendly and lovable. I have become the official greeter at the shelter. I love people and I like the other cats at the shelter also. There is a saying that orange cats have good genes of which I am living proof. I have really long whiskers which accentuates my cute face.
	Annabelle DSH brown tiger w/ white Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Annabelle. I’ve had a difficult life before I was brought to the shelter. I was “a stray” living outside and I have had several litters of kittens. A kind person was feeding me but I was not able to go into her home because she had several other cats. It was really difficult over the winter because I had to live in a shed(and it was cold some days). All of my recent litter of kittens have been adopted. I was just spayed and now it is my turn to find a loving home. I am currently living in a foster home. My foster “Mom” tells me that I am such a sweet girl. I am a “low key” feline who would blossom in a loving home. I lived outside for a few years and I am more than happy to be an indoor companion. I did a wonderful job taking care of my kittens and now I hope someone will adopt and take care of me.

My good looks are matched by my sweet disposition. I really like people but am not fond of other cats. My former family abandoned me at a local shopping center which was not a nice thing to do. I would bring lots of love into my new family’s home. I’m very sweet natured and “happy with life.”
	Luchia DSH white/tiger Spayed Female Adult	I have been a resident at the shelter for many months. The shelter staff tells me that I am one of their favorites which I love to hear. I’m very docile and sweet natured. I spend hours lounging in the sun in the outdoor enclosure. I would make a wonderful companion for a mature person or couple. I do like attention and I do love canned food(yum! Yum!) I wasn’t too crazy about the other cats at the shelter when I first came but I actually like most of them now. I’m petite and pretty with a good personality. I’m ready to go to my forever home.
	Sasha DSH gray tiger Spayed Female Adult	My name is Sasha. I am the latest addition to the shelter. I’m a petite(slightly pudgy) female who came to the shelter in “rough shape.” I had terrible bug bites on my ears and a nasty rash on my face. As you can I look so much better at this point in time. With some flea control meds, etc.; I am now quite cute and healthy. I’m a very sweet natured and friendly girl. My former “owner” reported that I have had “lots of kittens” but I am now spayed and done with motherhood. I’ve had a difficult life so I am ready to go home and be the “pampered pet” in my new home.
	Kirby DMH Gray Neutered Male Adult	My name is Kirby. I am a newcomer to the shelter and already the shelter staff has fallen in love with me. I think it is because I am very handsome with a charismatic personality. I came to the shelter from a local animal control officer so my past history is unknown. I have only been at the shelter for a short period but I seem to be compatible with the other cats. I love to roll over and show my belly which is a sign that I am very relaxed at my "temporary" home. Good looks, good personality - what more could you want???
	Twinkle DSH brown tiger Female Young Adult	I am not really one for being held by people right now, but I am sweetheart when I am used to you. I tend to get frightened by quick movements and may need some space if I do happen to get frightened. I am in need of a loving home that needs to be patient with me and respect my boundaries so I can become used to being around people better. Once I find the perfect home, I know I will be the sweetest, most wonderful cat there is.

I’m still a bit shy, especially when you reach for me quickly, but just slow down a bit and I’ll be happy to accept your attention. I have a need for cuddling with other cats or kittens whenever I am out of my cage, and you’re sure to get GREAT adorable pictures of us together, enough that people will go “awwww” at for years to come. Every time you talk to me when I am in my cage I eat up the attention by kneading and rolling around in my bed. I’m such a ham!

I did not have a name - and my life was not so good - before I came to the shelter. I was abandoned at a local veterinary clinic. The staff felt really sorry for me and that I really needed help. I have been neutered, vaccinated and even had my teeth cleaned(and a few pulled -ouch). I am still a little shy but love attention. The shelter staff says that “I turn to mush” when they stroke me. With love and patience; I will bond with a new family. I think I might do best in a home with adults or older children.
	Cathy DSH tiger/white Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Cathy(aka Chatty Cathy). I can hold a conversation with the best of them. I came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. I was already spayed and I don’t know my previous family was not looking for me. The shelter staff tells me that I have an awesome disposition. I’m very friendly and outgoing. I’m like those greeters at the Wal-Mart stores – I run up to meet anyone who comes into the shelter. I’m compatible with the other cats here but I would be fine with being the only feline member of the family. They are really nice to me here at the shelter(their food is delicious) but I am ready to go home with my new family.

	Siena Buff Tiger Neutered Male Adult	My name is Siena. My human “Mom” had to surrender me to the shelter because of her health issues. She was very sad because she loved me very much(and I loved her). I’m a very handsome cat with all the good qualities that maturity brings(I’m 9-years-old). I’m docile and easy going. I lived with several other cats so I’m very compatible with other felines. I would love a home with lots of windows or a sunny porch. 	Romeo DSH black Male Kitten	Romeo was very scared and shy when he first came to the shelter. Within a short period of time his personality completely changed. He is friendly, extremely playful and quite charismatic. He will play with anything that moves. He is a handsome little fella who would love to be adopted with his sister Juliet. Juliet is still shy but she loves Romeo. With Romeo's help; we are sure that Juliet's personality will continue to blossom. They really make a cute pair.
	Juliet DSH tiger Female Kitten	Juliet was very scared and shy when she first came to the shelter. She has made lots of progress in her sociability but she is still cautious with people initially. She loves her brother Romeo so we are hoping they can be with each other and they are quite comical to watch. We think she would be lost without the companionship of her brother so we are hoping that someone will give this cute pair a home.
	Sookie DMH black Spayed Female Adult FIV+	My name is Sookie. I came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. The fire department in that town had to rescue me from a tall tree. I was too scared to climb down so I am glad the firemen carried me down the ladder. The shelter(and the veterinary) staff tells me that I am a very sweet girl. I am very docile and happy with life. I tested positive for FIV but I am very healthy. I do not need any special veterinary care or medications. I can live a long normal life in a loving home. I would bring LOTS of love and companionship to my new family.
	Toby DSH black/white Male 9-weeks-old	My name is Toby. I came to the shelter with my three siblings. One of the local animal control officers found us outside at an apartment complex. I don’t know what happened to my feline Mom. We were taken to a wonderful foster home. My siblings have been adopted. The shelter staff describes me as super cute and super sweet. I LOVE people and I LOVE attention. I need a family who can spend lots of time with me – a feline friend would be great also.
	Gabby DSH tuxedo Adult Neutered male	My name is Gabby(formerly known as Groucho). The shelter staff decided that I needed a new name. Gabby is a better name for me because I do try to have conversations with people. They tell me that I have a most unusual “squeaky” meow. I’m a big brawny boy with a docile disposition. I want to be a strictly indoor companion because loud noises(and thunderstorms) scare me. I am the longest PAL feline resident. I just came back to the shelter from a foster home. They took good care of me in the foster home but the shelter staff thought I would have more “visibility” at the shelter. I have really mellowed since coming to the shelter. I’m ready to go to my forever home.
	Precious Blue Point Persian Spayed Female 8-years-old	My name is Precious. My human Mom had to move and was not able to take me with her(which makes me sad). As you can see from my picture; I'm a very pretty Persian who just had a "lion cut" at the groomers. I LOVE attention - the more the better. I also LOVE to play - balls being my favorite but I will play with whatever is available. Playing with toys and children is even more fun. My former family included young children. The shelter staff was told that I have no bad vises which is a nice compliment. I am a very healthy, friendly and playful 8-year-old Persian looking for a new loving home. Did I mention that I am incredibly cute also?
	Brewster DSH brown tiger Neutured Male Adult	My name is Brewster. I came to the shelter as a stray from a local town. The shelter staff tells me that I have the cutest face which matches my sweet disposition. I'm docile and affectionate. I love people but would probably be happiest in a home where I could be the only feline(I would like all the attention). I was outside for part of the winter so I appreciate the warmth and good meals here at the shelter. I have all the good qualities that maturity brings which I will bring with me to my new home.
	Miso DSH white/tiger Neutered Male Adult	My name is Miso. My former human companion passed away so that is why I came to the shelter. I was really scared initially(and very sad). But the staff has been very patient with me and I'm kinda liking life here at the shelter now. The way to my heart is through my stomach. I do LOVE canned food. I'm a big boy with a docile personality. I still "retreat" to the cabinet(as you can see from the picture) when someone new comes to the shelter. 	Noelle DLH brown tiger Female Young Adult	While I am still quite timid despite my stay at Becker College, I am the sweetest kitten you’ll ever meet. According to the Becker Kennel Staff, I don’t even know how beautiful I am. It may take me a little while to warm up to you, but once I do you’ll see just how rambunctious I can be. Fast movements and loud noises make me flinch, so just go very slowly when you want to pick me up or move me. My ideal home would be somewhere where patience is a virtue, as I will certainly need that to transition from a shy little kitten into a high-spirited one! Once I am able to find that perfect home, you’ll see just how wonderful I really am. I can get along well with other kitties, but don’t necessarily need their company. I’m petite, pretty, playful and perky. I’m also friendly and love attention. I LOVE all the toys the shelter staff has given me. I was found as a stray in a local town. The shelter staff is amazed that nobody called to report that I was missing. I was just spayed and am ready to move in with my next family.

The shelter staff tells me that I am pretty, petite and perky (nice compliments). Most of the other shelter feline residents are "older" than me so they don't like to play as much as I do. I would love to go home as a companion for another teen-age cat. I promise I would bring lots of fun into a home. Gosh - I hope 2016 brings me a new family.
	Bella DMH Tiger Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Bella. Sometimes I am called "Beautiful Bella." I was a "stray" (I don't like that word) when some kind family brought me into their home. I don't understand why my other family abandoned me. Although the human members of my new family loved me; the older feline member of the family did not like me at all. The other feline in the home is a "senior citizen" and she was very stressed because I had joined the family. For her sake; it was decided that it would be best if I find a different home. I am affectionate, friendly and playful. I even fetch things which is kinda unusual for a cat. I'm not sure how I feel about dogs but I like children. As you can see from my picture; the name "Beautiful Bella" is perfect.
	Snowflake DSH white Spayed Female Adult	My name is Snowflake(good name for a white cat). I’m 9-years-old but I still have a lot of “spunk” in me. I was living with an older person who can no longer care for me. I’m kinda sad and lonely because I’m living all alone in the house because my human companion had to go live with a member of her family. Everyone is trying to find me a new home so I don’t have to go the shelter. I don’t think I would be happy at the shelter because I have never lived with other cats. When someone stops to take care of me; I still love my play sessions. I like toys with dangly things that I can chase. But I am also content to relax on the couch or spend time looking out the window. I get lonely so I’m hoping someone will adopt me soon.
	Mabel DSH brown tiger Female Young Adult	My name is Mabel. I'm sorry my picture is not very complimentary. I guess I was having "a bad day" and didn't feel like smiling. I'm a mature female feline(sounds better than senior). I'm very friendly with people especially at mealtimes. I was found as a stray so I missed a lot of meals when I was out there on my own. The shelter staff tells me that my former family should never have left me outdoors(or abandoned me) because I have a deformed front leg. It was a "birth defect" and it doesn't slow me down at all. I don't know that I am any different than any other cat. I would be a very happy and content indoor companion.
	Simon DSH White Male Kitten	I am a very vivacious and exuberant “teen-ager.” Besides being incredibly handsome(that is what I’m told); I’m friendly with people, other cats and would probably do fine with a dog as long as it likes me. I am looking for an “active” family and would be a great companion for another “teen-age” feline friend. I play from morning to night(the shelter staff commented that they rarely see me sleeping). I’m happy and I live life to the fullest.

The shelter staff keeps telling me that some lucky family will adopt me and give me a forever home. I'm a good looking dude with a nice disposition to match. One of the family members has developed a severe allergy to me. Although this picture shows me “enjoying some outdoor time;” I am now very happy to be an indoor companion. I am very affectionate with my family although I can be a little shy until I get know you. I am very fastidious in keeping myself and my surroundings clean. 	Willow DSH Tabby/Tortie Female Young Adult	Willow is our tabby/tortie kitty. She is a cuddlebug and a ½! She will cuddle with anyone and everyone including her feline friends. She is amazing!
	Billy DSH black Neutered Male Adult	My name is Billy. The shelter staff said that my description is going to contain all positive adjectives. I'm very friendly, very affectionate and love people. I came to the shelter from one of the local animal control officers. I spent a few days at the veterinarian and several of the staff members said they would have taken me home if they didn't already have cats at home. I had some skin issues when I was found(those nasty fleas) but my coat is getting shiny and healthier each day. Come meet me - I think you will like me.

I am ruggedly handsome and super nice. I was a stray from a local town but I would love to be a part of a family. The shelter staff tells me that I can be a “bit of a bully” when I interact with other cats. Maybe a home with no other pets would be best for me. I was found as a stray in a local town but I know I will find my forever home soon. Believe it not; I actually LOVE my belly rubbed(not many cats can say that). 	Sissy DSH tortoiseshell Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Sissy. The shelter staff tells me that many torties are cats “with an attitude” but I am the exception to the rule. I’m friendly and affectionate. I must admit that I have the cutest meow. I usually try to respond when people talk to me. I’m a pretty girl with an unusual marking on my face(so you can distinguish me from other torties). I seem to be compatible with most other felines. I’m quiet and calm. Although everyone is nice to me here; I would really love to find my forever home.
	Paisley DMH Tortoiseshell Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Paisley. I had to come to the shelter because my “human” moved and could not take me along. That made me very sad. The shelter staff tells me that I am one of the prettiest tortoiseshell cats they have seen. I’m a little shy until I get to know you. But as each day goes past; I’m feeling more comfortable and relaxed. I have a cute meow when I’m asking for some personal attention. I lived with one individual in my former home so probably a quiet, less active family would be best.
	Tabitha DSH Tiger Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Tabitha. My former family could not keep me because they moved. I wish they would have taken me with them. The shelter staff tells me that I have a very outgoing and friendly disposition. My other name is "Nora the Explorer" because I have checked out every inch of the shelter. As much as I do like people; I am not crazy about co-habitating with the other felines(especially those pesty kittens).
	Kilee DSH Tortoiseshell Spayed Female 8-years-old	We are trying to help Kilee find a new home. She is currently living with her friend Mischief(also pictured on the web site). Their family wants to find them a new home because they do not like the new(and very vivacious) puppy. These cats lived harmoniously with an older dog for many years but are very unhappy with the new puppy. Both cats are very friendly and sociable. They can be adopted individually even though they lived together for many years.

We have lots of spunk, energy and glamour to run any household. We are ready to “move to the next level” and find our forever home. We have been lovingly raised in a foster home with a dog and other cats. The shelter staff tells me that I am also a beautiful little girl.

	Jessie DMH black Spayed Female 6-months-old	My name is Jessie. I was homeless and a local animal control officer rescued me. I'm a petite and pretty teen-age cat. I have a beautiful black coat that appears to have brown undertones. I am also proud of my magnificent tail which the shelter staff has complimented many times. I have a sweet and friendly disposition(if I must say so myself). I get along with the other felines at the shelter. I am a beautiful girl with a personality to match.
	Kittens Male and Female 6-weeks-old	We are starting to accept applications on this litter of adorable kittens. There are three white kittens, one tan and one gray kitten. Their feline Mom(who is white) is still caring for her "kids" in a foster home. The kittens are incredibly cute, friendly and playful. We would like to adopt them to their new homes when they are 8-9 weeks old which will be the first or second week in August.
	Anastasia Steele DMH Gray Spayed Female 6-months-old	My name is Anastasia Steel(Annie for short). I am a very pretty teen-age feline who was found as a stray in a local town. The veterinary staff gave me the name Anastasia Steele because of the show “Shades of Gray”(which means nothing to me except that I am gray). I am very friendly and sociable. I’m usually the first one to greet visitors at the shelter. I like the other cats at the shelter(even the “grumpy” ones). I love to roll over and show my belly. I’m ready to go home and share my life with my new family.
	Milo DSH black/white 3-years-old Neutered male	My name is Milo. I have been at the shelter a l-o-n-g time and would really like to go home. I seem to always be the second choice when potential adopters come to the shelter. I’m a calm and cool feline boy who loves to take life easy. I’m compatible with most other felines except for a few other male cats with whom I had some disagreements. However I do NOT like dogs. I think I had a bad experience with one of them so no canines in my life. I’m a robust(chubby) tuxedo boy with a nice personality. Gosh - I hope it is my turn to be adopted soon.
	Abby DSH Orange/White Spayed Female Young Adult	My name is Abby. The animal control officer in one of the local towns found me as a stray. I don’t understand why my family abandoned me. The shelter staff tells me that I am such a pretty girl with a sweet disposition. My white feet are polydactyl(which means I have extra toes). I am a little shy until I get to know you but then I “turn to mush” when you pet me. I would probably do best in a home with low activity because of my low key personality. I’ve also been told that I am “unique” because most orange cats are males.
	Meisha DSH black/white Spayed female 2 –years-old	My name is Meisha. I just retired from “motherhood.” I loved my kittens but they were all adopted to great homes. I have a super sweet personality(that is what they tell me at the shelter). I love children and dogs but would prefer to be the only feline in the household. I’m petite, perky and very playful. I tried to look really cute for my picture – how can you resist that face?
	Barney DSH Orange/White Neutered Male 1-year-old	My name is Barney. The shelter staff gave me that name because I was abandoned at a barn in a local town. I kinda like the name. I don’t understand why someone “discarded” me because I am a big lovable guy. I’m very friendly and love to roll on my side and stretch out my big feet. I have extra toes on my feet which makes me even more handsome and unique. I was just neutered(ouch) and am ready to move in with some family who will appreciate me for the nice boy I am.
	Kit Kat Siamese/Snowshoe Mix Spayed Female 6-years-old	My name is Kit Kat. My former human companion had to bring me to the shelter because she could no longer care for me. The shelter staff tells me that I am a beautiful Siamese/Snowshoe mix. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people but I’m quite friendly and love head rubs(which makes me roll on my side and purr). I would probably be happiest in a home where I am the only feline(or maybe one other feline friend). I have never lived with a dog or young children. I miss my home and hope that I do not have to stay at the shelter too long.
	Milo DMH White/Tiger Neutered Male 8-years-old Declawed	My name is Milo. I am a very sweet gentle boy who needs a quiet home. I am very lovable but can be shy when I first meet new people. My feline “brother” is Finn. I do miss his company. I am still living in my home but Finn went to the shelter. Our human Mom can no longer keep us because of “personal issues.” I am a b-i-g boy but I never try to throw my weight around. I love attention and head rubs. I am 8-years-old but I am healthy and still have lots of love to share. Oh – by the way – I am declawed.
	Emmett DSH Orange/White British shorthair mix Neutered Male 4-5 years-old	My name is Emmett. I am kinda sad because I was just returned to the shelter because the nice lady who adopted me started to develop an allergic reaction to me. She cried when she returned me to the shelter and told me that "I am the perfect cat." That was a nice compliment. I am a short and stocky fella with a really cute face. I am a very calm and happy boy. I LOVE people but need a home where I am the only pet. Other felines seem to scare me. An older "cat friendly" dog might be okay(I actually like Cody - the shelter mascot). Gosh I hope that I get adopted again soon because I have so much love to share.
	Finn DSH gray Neutered Male 8-years-old Declawed	My name is Finn. I was returned to PAL because my former owner is experiencing lots of changes in her life including moving. I am a super sweet boy who purrs when you just look at me. I am a b-i-g fella with a b-i-g heart. I am strictly an indoor companion as I am declawed. I recently aced my physical exam at the veterinarian’s office. I am a healthy and happy boy. Although I have only been at the shelter a short time(and they are nice to me here); I really want to go home.
	Dash DSH slate gray Neutered Male 8-months-old	My name is Dash. The veterinary staff gave me that name because they said that I am “dashingly handsome”(nice compliment). I was a stray from a local town. I’m really glad to be living at the shelter right now. I have good food, lots of toys and they are really nice to me. I am a little shy initially but warm up quickly. I turn to mush when you pet me. I love to play – my favorite toy is one of those squeaky mice. The shelter staff thinks that I would be a great companion to another cat.
	Mac DSH Black Neutered Male 2-years-old	My name is Mac. I am a 2-year-old healthy energetic young male who would bring lots of affection into some family’s home. The shelter staff has told me that I have a beautiful shiny black coat with deep gold eyes. Milo and I fight to be the first feline to greet any visitors that come to the shelter. I love to sit on warm laps and soak up any human contact that I can get. I’m playful and at times can a little exuberant so a home with older children would be best. My former owner had to surrender me because she could no longer care for me. Milo and I have become good friends so it would be awesome if someone would adopt both us – double the fun.
	Angie DSH brown tiger Female 3-months-old	My name is Angie and am I cute or what??? I am a happy, friendly, lovable youngster who would bring lots of fun into someone’s home. I had five feline brothers and sisters so I get along really well with other cats. I was raised in a foster home with two canines so dogs are pretty cool also. I’m happy and healthy and ready to share my life with some family who will share their love with me.
